Love Note 1 : Enrolment

Is a poor girl's life boring and not filled with glitz and glamour ? Well, read this to find out about a story with excitement and probably LOVE ?

Jade is the only child of the Stewart family. Her father, John Stewart , her mother, Analisa Stewart and herself live in a rundown wooden house which is the only wooden house left in the neighbourhood. Let me tell you about this neighbourhood. Jade lives in a low-class neighbourhood called Tilts Garden. Honestly, nobody knows why it is called Tilts Garden. Beside this neighbourhood is a prestigious school called Venus Academy. This academy specializes in stars and planet courses. Besides, it is mostly enrolled by rich students because everything from the food to facilities are of the best quality. Guess what ? Jade dreams of actually attending this academy because her ambition is to become an astronomer. 

Under a scholarship, Jade was accepted into Venus Academy after acing the entrance exam with flying colours. She was given the school uniform and everything else needed as a student of the academy. On her first day of school, she was very excited so she left home early. Upon her arrival in the school compound, she was dumbfounded. This was because the other students had a wealthy aura surrounding them which makes it uncomfortable for her since she is from a poor family. Following the directions, she arrived at the Principal's office. The academy's Principal was Mr. Taylor Jones. He had a very kind heart and takes pity on unlucky people. He gave Jade the information on the course she had registered for; Astronomy Course. Then, she was told to go to the Student Council Room.

A new student has to report himself or herself to the Student Council Room on the first day of school. That was the rule Jade was told about, so she searched for the Student Council Room. She struggled because she was still unfamiliar with the school area and she has no friends to help her out. When she was about to give up, her saviour appeared. A boy stretched out a helping hand towards Jade and said "Can I help you ?" She was very happy that the boy decided to take her to the Student Council Room, so she followed him obediently. They walked to the highest floor where there was only one room on that floor. The boy turned the doorknob and entered the room followed by Jade.

A boy was seated behind the desk which belonged to the Student Council President. The boy who led Jade to the room said "President, you have a guest. She seems to be a new student." The boy who was seated turned and smiled sweetly at Jade which made her heart skip a beat. It was her first time meeting a boy with such a mesmerizing smile. Well, it was already expected; she froze. "Hello, my name is Avalon Jennerson. I am the Student Council President of Venus Academy. The guy who led you here is the Vice President, Robert Fether. Pleased to meet you and welcome," said Avalon. Jade responded "Hi, I am Jade Stewart. I just transferred here today, so I was told to come here to report myself." Avalon stood up and looked at Jade from head to toe. Then, he stretched out his hand and shook Jade's hand. He said "Welcome to Venus Academy. You are accepted in our school." Jade was puzzled because she was already accepted into the school the first place. She wondered why the president, Avalon said that. 

"President, this is going to be chaotic since she is the first ever female student," said Robert. Jade asked "First female student ?" Avalon said "That's true. Luckily she enrolled into the Astronomy Course, so it will be fine. Our course have students with higher standards and manners. I'm sure they can take care of her." Jade was left in a daze as she could not understand a single thing said between Robert and Avalon. Suddenly, Robert held her shoulder and said "Let's get to class. You will be introduced to the whole class." Robert, Avalon and Jade went to the Astronomy Classroom. When the doors opened, Jade screamed ! Want to know what happened ? Curious of what Jade saw ? Congratulations to Our First Aid School Team!

A state level competition was held last Sunday on 17th of July 2011. We won the second place which we did not expect to win! We were shocked and happy at the same time. I want to express my gratitude to my seniors and friends : Ng Qing Min, Lim Li Jia, Lew Sze Yuen, Chong, Yen Voon, Chaifoong, Ai Yuan, Elizabeth, Rita, Hui Min and many, many more.... Thank you, everyone!

An Outing With My Friends

Yesterday, my friends and I went to an outing at Jusco. When all of us reached there, we decided on what to watch. Guess what? We actually said that we want to watch the "Green Lantern" which we do not even know what the movie is all about. Then, we bought 2 popcorn and a coca-cola drink (for me only). When we went into the cinema hall, we started eating the popcorn. Ting and I finished the popcorn even before the movie started! We did not even realised until we started touching each other's hands and found out that we ate finish the popcorn. After watching the movie, we straight went for the toilet as all of us could not stand it anymore! Then, we started talking about the movie especially this part:

          "When Jordan's friend received a call from Jordan, he drove to where his friend told him to go. When he reached there, he saw Jordan holding a ring. When Jordan explains everything to him, he asked : " An alien just proposed to you?" Jordan replied : NO!!"

Hahaha...XD I love that part! It is so funny that I laughed aloud. This is the best outing ever!


 

Boring Day In School

It is such a boring day in school. If I had known that the teachers won't be coming in, I would not have come to school. I reached school first thing in the morning when I saw Linda singing her favourite song. Then, during assembly, two former students came and gave a talk on something which I do not know. What I know is that I clapped as soon as they finish their talk! I am NOT a patient listener... My classmates and I went to our classroom, thereafter we went to the library for our first lesson. It was so, so boring! I have already read all the books that I wanted to read. So, I just flipped through some health magazines until the lesson ends. Then, we went back to class and started telling ghost story to each other. It was quite spooky.... My day in school just ends like that! Boring, isn't it?

Thank You, Everyone!

Today is my school's Canteen Day. As usual, there will be classes selling different types of food and drinks. My class is selling drinks such as soya bean milk (or plus cincau), oreo milkshake and lemonade. Wow! The only one thing which I unexpectedly do is I bought drinks from my class for 5 times! I must have gone crazy. However, the drinks my classmates sold are really nice and is suitable for quenching thirst. Now, I would like to introduce my classmates who have contributed to our stall....

Haha...^_^ They are the best promoters I have ever seen! Our drinks unexpectedly sold finish! Also a special thanks to Ting's mother for helping out at our stall and also Yen Voon's mother for providing all the necessary things needed during the sale. Thank you, everyone!

Best English Class Ever!

  Today, my class was told that during English period, Puan Shantini is going to see how our class is doing... As usual, we have to ask the teacher to sit behind (no more beside the dustbin) under a fan which is spoiled. Then, during English period, Puan Zuraidah came in and asked some of the students to read out some problems which we have created. After that, Puan Shantini came in. We greeted teacher, thereafter we sat down. We continued with our comprehension exercise and later we got into groups of 5. Each of us gets a piece of paper which stated one of the teenager's problems. The problem is regarding having a crush on a boy. The whole class started laughing and kept on teasing each other, especially Linda. Then, when we were asked to solve another problem which teacher gave us, one of the groups decided to come out with a sketch as a solution! Interesting!!

  I love it when Linda started acting as Raymond and also when Melissa is acting as Daven (if I am not mistaken). To tell the truth, their characters are the main attention in the class. The way they acted were so funny that I could not stop laughing! Haha ^_^ Today's English class is probably the best English class I have ever had in my life!
